Update: 6 Nations Sweepstake

by andy on Mar.03, 2009, under Blog

Below is a table showing the scores from all the games played so far and on the right the projected Total Points Projection based on the scores up to (and including) that game.

England 36 11 Italy 705
Ireland 30 21 France 735
Scotland 13 26 Wales 685
France 22 13 Scotland 645
Wales 23 15 England 630
Italy 9 38 Ireland 643
France 21 16 Wales 630
Scotland 26 6 Italy 611
Ireland 14 13 England 588

This last weekends low points brought it to below 600 and places Liz Williams from Cell at the University of Glamorgan closest with her 589 prediction. Still 2 weekends to go though, and you never know which way its going to go.

The winner will walk (or run) away with £58. Not a bad little haul.

6 Nations Sweepstake so far

by andy on Feb.16, 2009, under Blog

Previous total = 137
France v Scotland = 22 +13 = 35
Italy v Ireland = 9 + 38 = 47
Wales v England = 23 + 15 = 38

Which gives a total of 257 and average of 42.83 per game. Multiply this by 15 and you get a projected score after the second weekend of 642.5, which is closest to Pete Brigham so far. As yo can see, this is lower again then the previous weeks.

See the 6 Nations Sweepstake page for a list of current guesses and details.
