Election 2010
by andy on May.05, 2010, under Blog, news
I would like to ask people go vote tomorrow. A wasted vote is one that isn’t used.
If you don’t like the party that’s in power, others are available. If you don’t like the other major parties, others are available. That’s the beauty of a multi party democracy. You get choice!
OK so whoever you choose may or may not get in, but thy doesn’t matter. What matters is that you made your choice based on who you think is best for you and the country (or anything else you feel is important to put them in charge).
I urge the British people to use their vote, don’t throw it away.
On a similar note, don’t forget, while selecting your candidate, that literature can be biased. I don’t just mean what read and directly from parties, but some other sources. News papers, TV, radio and internet all have someone that may prefer one party over another for whatever reason, and because of that they (maybe inadvertently) favour that party when they present there information.
Anyway, that’s all I gotta say. Don’t throw your vote away, vote for what who you believe is best for the job.
6Nations Sweepstake update
by andy on Mar.05, 2010, under 6nations, Blog
3 weekends down now, and after a couple of sub 400 point games the projected final total points tally has dropped below the 600 mark to 585. See the spreadsheet for results so far and running projections.
Unfortunately due to non payment of entry I’ve had to strike a few entries out. I had advised everyone in the rules that non payment of entry before the end of the second weekend of games, means your entry will be removed… sorry, but rules is rules.
Anyway, this has meant that the winners pot is now at £57.
Welcome to my home on the web. I'll bog occasionally, but most of the time you'll just see an automated "LifeStream", feeds from my other online activities.
